What our patients say about our specialists
My overall experience was more than satisfactory. Mr Vatish has been amazing throughout this very difficult time, polite, professional, respectful and clear on all communication throughout my procedures, surgery and results. Mr Vatish may have just saved my life, and for that I will always be truly grateful, thankyou
— Patient of Jamie VatishMade to feel at ease. Very professional and sensitive to the reasons of being there. The support care of his team was very kind and professional.
— Patient of Jamie VatishMr Vatish is a superb consultant. He is skilled, knowledgeable, kind and patient. He also demonstrates a wealth of empathy as he helps you decide on the right choices for you. He embodies being person centred rather than assuming the same clinical approach is right for everyone. Obviously having breast cancer is not what any of us want. Nevertheless, Mr Vatish and Geraldine, the nurse, made a huge difference to how I felt.
— Patient of Jamie VatishI am very grateful to Miss Iqbal who advised me that the biopsy results showed no signs of cancer and that all of the crystallisation had been successfully removed which was such a relief to hear. She also advised that I will have 3 weeks of radiation but not for some weeks and that I will need annual mammograms for the next 3 or 5 years. (can't remember!!)
— Patient of Javeria IqbalI rate you 100% you've done such a fantastic job with my surgery and im very grateful for what you have done and how you explained and talked me through everything which put me at ease also so yeah I'm over the moon with my surgery and my results to say the cancer hasnt spread so Thankyou again I'm entirely satisfied
— Patient of Jamie VatishMr Vatish was attentive and gave clear answers to my questions. He was knowledgeable and helped me to understand the procedure I was about to have. He explained what a biopsy was and how it was taken. He then explained the potential results. Once I was given the diagnosis, he explained the surgery I would have and what he would do in terms of taking a margin of tissue from around the site of the cancer and sending it to the lab. When the results came back, he gave me clear results and was able to answer my questions about my future, giving me examples of how likely reoccurance might be, in terms of percentage. Mr Vatish is a very skilled surgeon. I only have a very slight scar a month after surgery. I would highly recommend Mr Vatish for any surgery required, you will be in very good hands.
