An Amazing Experience! My breasts were always my biggest insecurity, and I wanted to feel more confident in myself. Over the past 16 months, I have been under Mr Rajan's care following a breast cancer diagnosis, three surgeries and, most recently, a complication with mastitis. It has been one of the most challenging periods of my life, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care I have received from him throughout. What has meant so much to me is not only his surgical expertise, but the way he has treated me as a person throughout this experience. He has always taken the time to explain things clearly, answer my questions and help me understand what to expect. Even when things have not gone to plan, I have felt reassured knowing that I was in his care. Going through cancer changes your relationship with your body, your health and your sense of certainty. Having a surgeon who combines such professionalism with genuine kindness and compassion makes an enormous difference. I am particularly grateful for the care and attention he has continued to provide beyond the surgeries themselves, including through the more recent complications. At no point have I felt that my care ended when a procedure was complete. I know that for medical professionals, treating patients is part of their everyday work. But for those of us going through these experiences, the people who care for us can leave a lasting impression. Mr Rajan has certainly done that for me, and I will always be grateful.
