What is a One-Stop clinic?

A one-stop clinic is built so that you get everything you need — assessment, scans, and results — all in a single visit. That means no repeated appointments or long waits. You stay with us until we’ve done the tests and can tell you what happens next.

How it works for you

From the moment you arrive, our aim is to make your visit smooth, efficient and comfortable. Here’s how we guide you through:

Step 1: Initial assessment

You’ll meet your consultant and specialist team, talk about your symptoms, your history and any concerns – all in one private consultation.

Step 2: Diagnostic tests

If needed, you’ll move straight to imaging (such as ultrasound or scans) and any necessary tests so everything is done while you’re in clinic.

Step 3: Results & next steps

Most patients leave the same day knowing what’s happening, what we’ve found, and what the plan is – whether it’s discharge with reassurance, further monitoring, or a treatment pathway.

Clarity in your care journey.

Why choose a One-Stop clinic?

Speed

Same-day assessments means fewer delays in your care and less stress.

Convenience

Everything you need is in one visit – fewer trips & less disruption to your schedule.

Clarity

Clear results and next-step p[lans are given whilst you're in clinic, so you leave with confidence.

Comfort

You're kept informed throughout, with expect staff and care tailored to you.

How to prepare

It’s best to arrive a few minutes early and bring any previous scans or reports if you have them. Wear clothing that’s easy to remove if examinations or scans are needed, and feel free to bring a friend or relative for support. We recommend allowing a few hours for your visit so everything can be completed in one go.

And remember – you can ask questions at any time; we’re here to help you understand every step.

What happens after your visit?

After your visit, what happens next depends on your results. You may be discharged with clear advice and reassurance, referred for treatment or follow-up monitoring, or scheduled for further investigations.

Whatever the outcome, you’ll leave knowing exactly what comes next.

My overall experience was more than satisfactory. Mr Vatish has been amazing throughout this very difficult time, polite, professional, respectful and clear on all communication throughout my procedures, surgery and results. Mr Vatish may have just saved my life, and for that I will always be truly grateful, thankyou

Patient of Jamie Vatish

Made to feel at ease. Very professional and sensitive to the reasons of being there. The support care of his team was very kind and professional.

Patient of Jamie Vatish

Mr Vatish is a superb consultant. He is skilled, knowledgeable, kind and patient. He also demonstrates a wealth of empathy as he helps you decide on the right choices for you. He embodies being person centred rather than assuming the same clinical approach is right for everyone. Obviously having breast cancer is not what any of us want. Nevertheless, Mr Vatish and Geraldine, the nurse, made a huge difference to how I felt.

Patient of Jamie Vatish

I am very grateful to Miss Iqbal who advised me that the biopsy results showed no signs of cancer and that all of the crystallisation had been successfully removed which was such a relief to hear. She also advised that I will have 3 weeks of radiation but not for some weeks and that I will need annual mammograms for the next 3 or 5 years. (can't remember!!)

Patient of Javeria Iqbal

I rate you 100% you've done such a fantastic job with my surgery and im very grateful for what you have done and how you explained and talked me through everything which put me at ease also so yeah I'm over the moon with my surgery and my results to say the cancer hasnt spread so Thankyou again I'm entirely satisfied

Patient of Jamie Vatish

Mr Vatish was attentive and gave clear answers to my questions. He was knowledgeable and helped me to understand the procedure I was about to have. He explained what a biopsy was and how it was taken. He then explained the potential results. Once I was given the diagnosis, he explained the surgery I would have and what he would do in terms of taking a margin of tissue from around the site of the cancer and sending it to the lab. When the results came back, he gave me clear results and was able to answer my questions about my future, giving me examples of how likely reoccurance might be, in terms of percentage. Mr Vatish is a very skilled surgeon. I only have a very slight scar a month after surgery. I would highly recommend Mr Vatish for any surgery required, you will be in very good hands.
