Miss Priya Bhatt is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon, specialising in eyelid and eye socket surgery, cataract surgery, and non-surgical periocular rejuvenation. She practises at Beaumont Hospital in Bolton, part of Circle Health Group, alongside her NHS base at the Royal Bolton Hospital.

Miss Bhatt treats a wide range of conditions affecting the eyelids and the area around the eyes, including drooping or turned eyelids (ptosis, entropion and ectropion), blocked tear ducts, watery eyes, and thyroid eye disease. She also removes and reconstructs skin cancers affecting the eyelids, and offers cosmetic eyelid surgery, brow lifts, and non-surgical treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. Alongside her oculoplastic work, she carries out cataract surgery to restore clear vision affected by clouding of the eye's natural lens.

She graduated with honours in Medicine from the University of Manchester and went on to complete her specialist training in ophthalmology at the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology in Glasgow and across the North West of England. She undertook further advanced training and a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, before being awarded her Certificate of Specialist Training and entering the Ophthalmology Specialist Register in July 2008.

Miss Bhatt has been a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon at the Royal Bolton Hospital since August 2008, where she is Clinical Lead for Oculoplastic Services and has trained junior surgeons for over 14 years. She previously held national and trust-level roles in medical education and quality assurance, supporting other doctors to maintain high standards of practice.

Her priority is to give her patients well-informed, personalised care, with a focus on natural-looking, understated results that leave her patients looking like themselves, only refreshed.
