Professor Stephen Radley is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Honorary Professor at the University of Sheffield, where he also serves as Research Lead for Reproductive Medicine and Childbirth.
He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1984 and London in 1987, before training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from 1989, with further specialist training in Reconstructive Urology. He was appointed as a Consultant in Sheffield in 2000 and awarded an MD by the University of Sheffield in 2005.
Professor Radley specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders, including prolapse, urinary incontinence, and associated bladder, bowel, vaginal, and sexual dysfunction. He developed the electronic Personal Assessment Questionnaire (ePAQ) — a widely used online tool that helps assess patient symptoms, quality of life, and treatment outcomes in gynaecology and other areas of healthcare.
He offers a comprehensive range of general gynaecological treatments, including prolapse repair, vaginal repair, cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, coil insertion, and hysterectomy, as well as the diagnosis and management of menstrual disorders.
Professor Radley’s approach is patient-centred, combining advanced surgical expertise with compassion and innovation to help women achieve long-term improvements in comfort, function, and quality of life.

From the moment I met Professor Radley he put me at ease, he listened to my symptoms and problems, he then started to put a plan in place, this part is working at the moment how long we don't know but Professor Radley will be there to solve the issue, I'm so glad I went to see him .
