Dr Sara Meade is a Consultant Clinical Neuro-Oncologist at University Hospital Birmingham, with over seven years of dedicated experience in oncology and patient care. She specialises in neuro-oncology, managing brain, skull base, and pituitary tumours, and has particular expertise in stereotactic radiotherapy — a highly precise form of targeted radiation treatment.

Dr Meade graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Birmingham in 2003, followed by the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2006 and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2015. She went on to complete a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Oncology at the University of Birmingham in 2016, further strengthening her academic and clinical expertise.

In addition to her NHS role, Dr Meade serves as the Medical Governance Lead at The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. In this position, she plays a key role in upholding and developing high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence, ensuring that every aspect of care reflects the latest evidence and best practice.

Dr Meade is known for her thorough, compassionate approach, taking time to understand each patient’s individual needs and provide clear, supportive guidance throughout their treatment journey.
