Miss Lynne Robinson is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Birmingham Women’s Hospital (BWH), where she leads both the Fertility Centre and the Menopause and Reproductive Endocrine Service. She also practises privately at The Priory Hospital, Edgbaston.

Miss Robinson graduated from Edinburgh University Medical School in 1996, earned an MD in Reproductive Medicine in 2003, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2019.

She is a recognised fertility specialist, overseeing one of the largest fertility units in the West Midlands, which includes the UK’s second-largest Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) clinic. Her expertise includes subfertility assessment, IVF/ICSI, donor gamete treatments, and male fertility procedures such as surgical sperm retrieval.

In addition to her fertility work, Miss Robinson heads the Menopause and Reproductive Endocrine Service at BWH, managing complex menopausal conditions and providing implant therapies. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care and sits on the British Menopause Society’s Medical Advisory Council.

An Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, Miss Robinson contributes to research, teaching, and service development. She is actively involved with professional organisations including the British Fertility Society and ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology).

Outside her clinical and academic work, she enjoys cycling and reading with her book club, reflecting her balanced and approachable outlook both in and out of medicine.
