Consultant profile

Mr Keval Patel is a Consultant Urologist and Honorary Senior Research Fellow specialising in robotic surgery of the pelvis. He works in the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation trust.

Mr Patel began his training at Imperial College, London. He went on to an academic higher training programme at the University of Cambridge and in hospitals throughout East Anglia.

After completing training in General Urology, he underwent robotic fellowship training at Addenbrooke where he developed skills to investigate and treat complex prostate cancer related problems.

Mr Patel has published and presented work on prostate and bladder cancer to international conferences and has been invited to lecture as part of postgraduate courses.
