Profile
Dr Kahverry Rajeswaran is a GMC-registered General Practitioner (GP) with specialist training in psychosexual and relationship therapy. She provides psychosexual and relationship therapy for adults across the UK through Dr Kahv Intimate Wellness, seeing patients online and in person at The Ridgeway Hospital (Circle) in Swindon. She is a registered member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and a committee member of the British Society of Sexual Medicine.
Dr Rajeswaran supports individuals and couples with a wide range of sexual and relationship difficulties. This includes erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, low libido, and difficulties with arousal or reaching orgasm, as well as vaginismus (involuntary tightening of the vaginal muscles that can make sex painful or difficult) and dyspareunia (pain during intercourse). She also assesses men with symptoms of low testosterone, such as reduced libido, fatigue and low mood, and takes a combined medical and psychological approach to erectile dysfunction, offering medical treatment alongside psychosexual support where this is helpful. Much of her work involves supporting patients through the emotional impact of fertility investigations, assisted conception and recurrent pregnancy loss, and helping women manage the effect of menopause on libido, comfort and confidence. She also helps patients whose sexual confidence or relationships have been affected by surgery, including gynaecological, urological, colorectal, bariatric and cancer treatment, or by body image difficulties such as body dysmorphic disorder, a distressing preoccupation with perceived flaws in appearance.
Dr Rajeswaran qualified in medicine in 2012 and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2018, before completing a postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy in 2025. She is currently involved in research with St Mark's Hospital, helping to develop a patient-reported outcome measure to assess sexual function in patients recovering from bowel surgery for inflammatory bowel disease. She accepts referrals from GPs and hospital specialists in urology, gynaecology and oncology, as well as patients who refer themselves directly. Many patients come to her after living with their symptoms for some time, often having already had medical investigations without the emotional or relationship impact of their condition being addressed.
Patients describe Dr Rajeswaran as approachable and easy to talk to, and she is known for creating a safe, non-judgemental space in which to discuss sensitive concerns. Drawing on her combined background in medicine and psychotherapy, she considers the physical, hormonal, emotional and relational factors behind a patient's difficulties, and works with individuals, couples, and those in consensual non-traditional relationships.
