Mr Iqbal has been a full-time consultant in trauma and orthopaedics since August 1998, providing specialist knee treatment for sports injuries (cruciate ligament repair and reconstruction, cartilage and instability surgery), alongside hip and knee replacement procedures. Mr Iqbal also practices general orthopaedics, including unicompartmental replacement surgery in selected patients.
He has been based at Manor Teaching Hospital NHS Trust in Walsall since 2000, with a special interest in sports injury surgery, including advanced arthroscopic knee surgery (patellar instability and cruciate ligament reconstruction).
