Michael Stellakis

Mr Michael Stellakis is a highly experienced consultant colorectal and general surgeon practising privately at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital. He also has over 19 years of experience as a consultant laparoscopic surgeon at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust (SWFT) and is an honorary consultant at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW).

After qualifying in medicine from the University of Bristol in 1991, Mr Stellakis trained at renowned institutions in London, Paris, and Strasbourg. He further advanced his expertise by completing a fellowship in laparoscopic bowel surgery at Frimley Park Hospital in 2004. As a fellow of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland and the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons, he is recognised for his expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Mr Stellakis specialises in diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy, having performed over 8,000 endoscopic procedures with consistently excellent outcomes. He also offers a range of advanced procedures, including gastroscopy, hernia repairs (open and laparoscopic), gallbladder surgery, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
