Mr Hosam Serag is a highly experienced consultant urological surgeon offering private care at The Priory Hospital and The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham, alongside his NHS practice at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (University Hospitals Birmingham). After completing his medical degree and MSc in Urology at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, he joined the UK Urology National Training Program, gaining extensive experience across Cardiff, Newport, and Swansea. He achieved the MRCS, FRCS (Urology), and FEBU qualifications, completing his surgical training in 2018.

In 2019, Mr Serag undertook a prestigious Uro-Oncology Fellowship at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital, specialising in complex cancer resections and robotic surgery. On returning to the UK, he joined the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s urology team, focusing on urological cancers, advanced renal surgery, laparoscopic techniques, and robotic renal surgery.

Mr Serag offers a range of private procedures, including circumcision, flexible cystoscopy, vasectomy, hydrocele surgery, and TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate). His extensive experience in open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery ensures exceptional outcomes for his patients.
