Mr Nayar attended medical school in St Andrews and then Manchester, graduating in 2001, where he began surgical training, following houseman year. In 2005, he became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd) and went on to complete training in Urology in the West Midlands. Following this, Mr Nayar worked as a registrar in Hereford, 2008. He passed the Speciality Exam in Urology in 2014 whilst completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education the same year, and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014.
After completing his training in 2015, he spent a fellowship year at the internationally recognised Bristol Urological Institute training in Female, Functional and Reconstructive Urology. Mr Nayar was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Hereford in 2015.
