Mr Talvinder Singh, known as Vin, is a highly experienced consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon specialising in upper limb surgery and general trauma. He provides private care at The Priory Hospital in Birmingham and The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, alongside his NHS practice at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.
After graduating from the University of the West Indies, Mr Singh completed his basic surgical training at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust and developed a strong focus on trauma and orthopaedic surgery during his time at University Hospital Birmingham. His passion for upper limb surgery led him to complete a general trauma fellowship at Brighton Major Trauma Centre and two prestigious Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) approved fellowships in upper limb and microvascular surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
Mr Singh is particularly skilled in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder surgery, with expertise in procedures such as carpal tunnel release and tennis elbow surgery. Having performed over 8,000 surgeries, he is also one of the few UK surgeons holding the European Diploma in Hand Surgery.
