Mr Palak Trivedi is a highly experienced consultant gastroenterologist offering private care at The Priory Hospital, Birmingham. He specialises in gastroscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions, including gastrointestinal bleeding, variceal surveillance, and banding. His expertise ensures accurate diagnosis and effective management for a wide range of digestive health concerns.
Mr Trivedi graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, in 2005, and completed foundation training in the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Deanery. He pursued specialist training in internal medicine within the Oxford Deanery, becoming a specialist registrar in gastroenterology in 2009. In 2011, he commenced doctoral research at the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) in Birmingham, focusing on gut inflammation and autoimmune liver disease, further enhancing his expertise in complex gastroenterology cases.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Trivedi is an associate professor at the NIHR Birmingham Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). His innovative research informs his practice, ensuring patients receive the latest evidence-based care.
